Services
Six service lines across commercial and residential work in Perth. Supply and install, or install only if you have already bought the material.
Commercial Sheet Vinyl
Hospital-grade sheet vinyl laid, hot-welded and coved so there is no seam for water to find. Most of what we do sits in medical suites, classrooms, aged care corridors and retail floors — places that have to keep working while we are in them.
Vinyl Plank & LVT
Loose-lay, glue-down and click LVT through houses, offices and care facilities. The plank is the easy part — the reason it still looks flat in five years is the prep underneath it.
Polished Concrete
Mechanical grinding through the grits to a honed matt or a full polish, plus grind-and-seal where you want the aggregate showing. Old slabs come up better than most people expect once the surface is cut back.
Carpet & Carpet Tile
Carpet tile and broadloom for offices, corridors and fitouts — including bordered runs and inset shapes cut into the field where the design calls for it.
Floor Prep & Levelling
Grinding back, patching, moisture barriers and self-levelling compound. This is the part nobody photographs and the part that decides whether the finished floor is any good.
Feature Inlays & Custom
Curved welds, cut-in circles, colour blocking and logo shapes set flush into sheet vinyl or carpet tile. Slower work, but it is what turns a floor into part of the fitout.
Questions
Perth and the surrounding metro area. If you are further out, ring John on 0434 967 552 and ask — travel is usually workable if the job is worth the trip.
Both. The bulk of the work is commercial — medical, education, aged care, offices and retail — but a good share of the grinding and polishing is in people’s homes.
Usually, yes. We have brought slabs from the 1980s up to a finished polish. Until the top layer is cut back nobody can tell you exactly what aggregate is in there, so we grind a test patch first and you decide from that.
Almost always something. Sheet vinyl and LVT telegraph every bump underneath them, so levelling and smoothing is priced as part of the job rather than bolted on later.
Yes. Plenty of the commercial work is done on weekends or after close so the space is ready to trade the next morning. One recent office fitout was completed over a single weekend.

JPH Flooring Pty Ltd has been registered since April 2021, and John has been in the flooring industry for around 22 years before and since.
Either. Most clients have us supply and install, but we are happy to lay client-supplied material if you have already bought it.
